This house was lovely, the grounds comfortable. Weather kept us from enjoying the fire pit and barbecue, but they were easily accessible if we wished. The bed was super comfortable, and our hosts even provided a really nice dog bed that our pup adored. The kitchen was easily useable, and we cooked in both nights. The house layout does include steps. We carry a nightlight, which helped us find the steps in the dark. The WiFi worked great, and the cellular challenges are assisted with a booster (helps to know where to stand -- in the kitchen.) Good water pressure in the shower, efficient washer and drier. A little odd that the hot/cold at the bathroom sink were reversed from norm, but no big deal. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, and don't look for Montezuma Lake (maybe it is seasonal, but it did not exist in late March.) It was a bit disconcerting to see a neighbor flying a Confederate flag, but we had no uncomfortable interactions. Very close to Montezuma Well, very cool.

We weren't at the house much because we had so much we wanted to see in the area. The backyard looked very inviting with all of the patio furniture and chairs around the firepit! We didn't get to use it because it was rainy while we were there. The bed was comfortable as well as the couch and love seat in the living room. We were having some trouble finding the house so I contacted Bonny. She happened to be on her way home from the store so she met us on the road and we followed her to the house and she opened the door for us! Very kind of her!

Willam and Bonny were great hosts. Whenever I messaged them they got back to say soon as they could (which was a few minutes to about 30 minutes). Their place was beautiful. We would stay there again.

We recently stayed at this charming house, and our experience was incredibly positive. The cleanliness of the home was exceptional, making us feel comfortable and well-cared for from the moment we stepped in. One detail we particularly appreciated was the abundance of towels provided, which is a small but significant comfort. The bed and overall ambiance of the home were exceptionally cozy, providing the perfect setting for relaxation. We were also pleasantly surprised to find waters stocked in the fridge, a thoughtful touch that added to our experience. For those who enjoy cooking, this place is a dream. The kitchen was equipped with all the utensils we could possibly need, making meal preparation easy and enjoyable. The neighborhood itself is serene, offering beautiful scenery that adds to the charm of the location. We wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone visiting Lake Montezuma and are already looking forward to staying here again on our next visit.
