Courtyard Cottage is set in a small private gated courtyard in the heart of historic Warkworth. A gentle stroll will lead you to the village’s selection of artisan shops, bistros and pubs. The banks of the river Coquet are 100 yards away and Warkworth’s long sandy beach is within walking distance. The cottage is a great base for exploring the many delights of Northumberland’s stunning coastline, ancient castles and beautiful countryside

Had a great stay! Lovely cottage, really well maintained and in an amazing location. Loads of local options for food and drink. Spoiled for choice for scenic strolls and long walks! We will be going back.
Our second visit to Warkworth and stay in Courtyard cottage. Like our previous visit we had a lovely stay. Great location. Cottage lovely and clean and very comfortable. Had a query before we arrived and like last time David's response was quick and efficient.

Free parking is available in the main square with additional space down by the river. Vehicles have to be parked in marked bays to qualify. Due to the age of the village there is no parking at the cottage but you can unload luggage etc at the cottage before finding a space. The cottage is 150 yards away from the main square.
There is a bus service available south to Newcastle and north to Alnwick from the village centre. The East Coast mainline railway station is 5 miles away at Alnmouth with connections to Newcastle ( 30 mins )and Edinburgh (75 mins ) away
