There is a bakery a short bike ride or car journey away in Pompignan which is a lovely way to start the day. The well stocked, open all day and Sundays Supermarket is a 10 minute drive away in St Hippolyte de Fort. Where there is also a plethora of cafes, bakeries, restaurants and one of the best butchers I know, Angel Gilardo, right in the town Square.
Being France there are markets n every direction.
All French markets sell food, clothes and gifts. The bigger the market, the wider the range - at the biggest, like Sommières,  as well as food of every description, there’s a large area devoted to bric-à-brac, antiques and objets trouvés.
St Hippolyte-du-Fort, smallish – 10 minutes away – Friday mornings
Quissac, medium – 15 minutes away – Wednesday mornings
Ganges, big – 20 minutes away – Friday mornings
Sommières, 30 minutes away – very big – Saturday mornings 
Uzès, 55 minutes away – stylish – Wednesday & Saturday mornings
