Bill and Barb's cabin was exceptional and exactly as described. The tiny cabin was well appointed with everything we could need for our stay. We didn't get a chance to use the kayaks but did enjoy fishing from the shore due to the easy access to the waterfront. If you're looking for a unique, quiet and functional place to stay in the Kootenay Valley, this is it!

Fantastic location! Only a short drive from Creston and short drive to Kootenay Bay ferry. Lots to do in the area (hiking, biking, water sports, wine tasting). Cabin is very private, quiet and cozy. Bed was extremely comfortable. Host provided all the necessary amenities (lots of towels, linens, kitchen supplies, BBQ). Bonus was the quiet private beach with kayaks, beach chairs and swim up dock. Would love to stay here again

I delayed writing a review as how do you put into words such an amazing experience. This place was exactly what we were looking for! Everything was very much as described and more! Much care has gone into everything from the decor, to the fall seasonal decorating, to the guest extras. Communication with the hosts was great from before arrival, including the best way to access the property, to information about the property and things in the area. We were made to feel very welcome. The hosts pride of ownership is evident in the projects they have on the go to make this place an even more amazing experience.
