Juan’s place was just as listed and the same as the photos. We had access to all parts of casco viejo within walking distance and felt safe throughout the stay. The front desk security/staff welcomed us in and out daily and the restaurant De Los Barrios across the street was excellent when it came to traditional Panamanian meals and at a great price. There was no access to a balcony but that did not take away at all from our experience. The pool was amazing, warm and gave great views of the skyline and ocean. I would absolutely recommend this and would be interested in returning when we come back to Panama! It does take a bit of common sense to know where to walk and to be aware of your surroundings but if there is any worry, Uber is readily available. Overall an amazing experience. It felt like we were coming home at the end of a day trip or dinner which made it such a comfortable vacation!

The building is new, the room is definitely spacious, clean and comfortable. It’s located near the must-visit places in Casco Viejo. It took me less then 5 mins to reach those places on foot. Juan’s a friendly and responsive host, he answered all of my questions very well. A friendly reminder: not far away from this amazing place, you will see a crowded place called El Chorrillo, many believe it as the most dangerous neighborhood in the city. Even so, at night and on weekends, you’ll see lots of cops present at this area, and I did not have any bad experience at all. Just be mindful at all times, and you’re good to explore this beautiful part of the city!
