We really enjoyed our stay at The Bear! We really didn't need to reach out much to the hosts because they gave great instructions/recommendations in their welcome email and provided pretty much every thing we needed including seasonings for cooking. We visited the Wild Animal Safari and had a great time. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows for s'mores each night at the fire pit with the complimentary wine with the kids whom LOVED the jacuzzis! It was nice and peaceful just sitting outside. A really nice home away from home. Thanks for everything!!

He was very friendly and responded quickly. He had referred a couple of places to eat and places to view and they were on point, and we loved it. Thanks, a lot will visit again and tell family and friends about it.

We had a great stay during Christmas at Justin’s place. It’s not far from lookout points of beautiful scenery or from activities. We were 10 minutes from the Callaway Gardens Fantasy in Lights. We didn’t have anyone staying on either side of us until the last night which was nice as even in our brief time having a neighbor the walls are thin. There was already toilet paper, paper towels, seasonings etc already there and available. We even had a gentleman drop us off some tide pods as he was readying the neighboring cabin for guests. The only thing I wish we had was additional larger covers. There were lots of extra sheets and a few smaller blankets but not large enough for an adult to cover themselves with and sleep with comfortably. Other than that communication was great and the stay was great also. We might come back with a larger group and just book the whole cabin next time.

When we booked the cabin, we weren’t aware that this is a triplex. When I looked at the description, it was called a triplex but not in the main description of the cabin. The host said other guests have had similar complaints & he was going to make changes to the listing. The listing says this is a peaceful, family friendly cabin. The walls were very thin, there’s doors that go into the other sides of the cabin that are only blocked with styrofoam material. The first night we went to bed around 11 & the neighbors got home around 1 AM, were very loud & woke us up. We weren’t able to get any sleep & had plans to get up early to hike the next day. We were there as a family with our son and the people next door were doing rated X things. It was really upsetting. The cabin itself is really cute & rustic. We loved the game room & jetted tubs. The location is great, near FDR state park. If you don’t have children and want to hang out with other guests/meet new people, this is a great option.
