Situated in an idyllic location in the heart of the Teifi Valley, the accommodation offers spectacular views, with grounds leading down to the river Teifi. It's in a central place from which to explore West Wales, just a 30-minute drive from the Cardigan coastline. It is an ideal area for walkers and cyclists, and canoeing is also available, less than 5 miles away. The village shop is less than 2 miles away, as are two pubs, both serving food. Please note that all photos show rooms or areas for guests' exclusive use. The accommodation forms the majority of the ground floor of the property (the first floor being the owners' accommodation). Accommodation comprises hall, kitchen/sitting/dining area; inner hall leading to bathroom (with bath, shower and WC); bedroom (super-king bed and ensuite (wash-hand basin, WC and shower)); and a further sitting room. Each of the main rooms has sliding doors on to the patio, which is for your exclusive use, with plenty of seating areas. The desk area does have blinds, should the sun prove too much. Washing machine and ironing facilities are in the utility room, which is shared with the owner. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge freezer (with generous space in both). There is underfloor heating throughout. Guest towels are provided. There are two televisions, one with a DVD player and Freeview Play. A travel cot and high chair can be made available. Bikes can be stored securely inside if needed . There's off-road parking in close proximity to the entrance door for two or more cars.

This is a gem of a holiday location, it is very quiet, has beautiful views. There are numerous comfy places to sit both inside and out where you can soak up the atmosphere. The extensive veranda enables you to look down on the river and valley below, to eat out in comfort and even to play darts on a mellow evening. Julia is an excellent host and made us very welcome. The kitchen is well provisioned with everything you could possibly need. The property is roomy, comfortable and clean. Julia is very good at thinking of the little extras that you might need like binoculars for watching the birds, water bowl and towels for your dog, cushions for sitting outside etc.... We enjoyed walking and wild swimming in the local river. it is a beautiful area to explore and we will definitely come back to stay at Julia's again.
Beautiful place in a lovely part of the country. The house had everything you could need during your stay, and more. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfy. Idyllic views from the balcony down towards the river. These views can be enjoyed from the bedroom and kitchen, where you can spend hours just watching the world go by, in peace and quiet. Very dog friendly too. Julia was a great host, with lots of helpful hints on places to visit locally.
Utterly breath taking views and peaceful! This place is so worth a visit. The sound of the river is so relaxing. We had an amazing week. 40 mins from the sea with plenty of places to visit. If you’re looking for relaxation and some quiet time this is for you. The place itself has everything you need from washing machine to dishwasher. It’s just perfect for a quiet break from life. Julia is a great host, super helpful and quick to respond.
This place was absolutely beautiful. The most gorgeous little spot that looked like it came straight out of a travel diary. Lovely spot with nature all around and the most charming and helpful host by the name of Julia. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway in wales, it’s spot on!
Our stay was wonderful. The views are so beautiful and it is a very calming place to stay. Julia the host was very welcoming and accommodating. The decor and furniture is very tasteful and there are some excellent touches which make the stay even better. It is a great location to seaside areas yet in a very peaceful setting. We had our 4 month old baby and it was a perfect first holiday for us. The views from the bedroom and kitchen diner are incredible, Julia is very lucky to live in this area. The property is situated down a quiet country lane, off which is a pleasant walk on a footpath that leads to the river and church. Generally, the place is very quiet and there's not much traffic. However, we're not far from civilization, being just 2 miles from the main Carmarthen to Lampeter road.
