Nims neighborhood is a quiet neighborhood just west of downtown. You will be walking distance from the Coffee Factory, a great morning location, as well as from Fatty Lumpkins, an iconic sandwich shop. The morning train will come through the train tracks mere houses away for a throwback in time. Downtown is an easy 3 minute drive and free parking downtown is available all over the street.
The bungalow is located in Nims Neighborhood, an up and coming growing area of Muskegon full of small 1900’s homes and long standing local families. Nims is not a ritzy, fancy neighborhood, but it is centrally located to all that Muskegon and the surrounding West Michigan area provides. It is a quiet, safe neighborhood full of families. Nims is an older neighborhood, sporting a local feel. With its proximity to downtown and the water, it is the next up and coming neighborhood to see development. Let it be known there is an old factory a block away (that can look a little scary on first glance) that has been purchased and is under contract to be fully renovated into a beautiful historic condo complex which will bring with it more development and regeneration to this area. Nims is a safe and quiet neighborhood that supports many of the local families in Muskegon.
