Come unwind and relax in our new self-contained, private 1 bedroom suite. “Stone Hearth Stay” has all the kitchen amenities to enjoy a glass of wine and cook an amazing meal after a long day enjoying the beautiful West Coast of Vancouver Island. We’re located only minutes from the Sooke town core and Highway 14 and West Coast Rd. Conveniently located to connect you to downtown Victoria or out West to our beautiful beaches. You will feel like it’s a home away from home! Our new 1 bedroom suite offers a bright cozy, comfortable space. It is an upstairs, front of the house suite with several windows. Allowing the sun to shine through and brighten the kitchen and conjoined living room/dining room. As you enter the suite from the side of the house, you go up the indoor stairwell. At the top of the stairs to the left is the door to the laundry room with a stackable washer/dryer. A small portion of Nellies environmentally clean laundry powder and dryer sheets are provided. Next, is the door to the bedroom, which features a queen sized bed with bamboo linens and an Endy open-cell foam mattress that provides optimal firmness and comfort for a great nights sleep. The room is furnished with a bedside table and tall boy dresser for you to unpack and enjoy your stay. A small bedside lamp offers a charging dock. The closet also features shelves for your belongings and several hangers and a small ironing board and iron. There is a single mattress stored under the queen bed should you need it for a child. Due to the open stairwell up to the suite, age 5 and up for children, is acceptable to stay in the suite. Please let us know before checking in, so we can set the bedding up for you. Walk out of the bedroom and you enter the open living room/dining room. Featuring a comfy small sectional for you to relax and chill while watching some Netflix on the Samsung flatscreen HD T.V. with Chromecast. We are a “DOG” friendly only suite. Please no cats or other animals of any kind allowed. The dining area offers a small 4 person table and chairs. The entire suite is decorated with art and photography from local artists. The bathroom offers a tub and shower combo so you can enjoy a soak in the tub after a long day exploring Sooke. The towels provided are 100% white cotton and the bathroom amenities are all environmentally friendly, plant based products. All of our cleaning supplies for the suite are also plant based products. As you enter the bright kitchen you will notice it is equipped with a full size fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave. There is a Single Serve Keurig Coffee Maker which is stocked with a variety of Organic, Fairtrade “ONE” medium roast, decaf coffee pods which are 100% compostable. Milk and cream are provided. We offer a compost bin under the sink and a small recycling bin. The dish soap and dishwasher pods are both environmentally safe, plant based products. There is also a kettle for you tea lovers with a variety supply of “Twinings” Tea bags. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, toaster, Cuisinart Blender, baking sheets, roasting pan, mixing bowls, plates, cups, cutlery, knives, wine glasses, charcuterie board, you name it we got it for all your kitchen needs. We want you to enjoy the suite as your own home and make great dinners while relaxing at the “Stone Hearth Stay”.
