We were 8 people and stayed for 2 days at the Everdew Kandy. It was a pleasant stay. There are 4 bedrooms and each of them has an attached washroom and a balcony. There is a small staircase next to the main entrance that leads to the terrace. The kitchen is functional with all the necessary things like gas stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, electric rice cooker, electric kettle, utensils etc. The place is very spacious and the views are amazing. We requested for breakfast on one of the days and the host prepared it for us (800 LKR/person). We had dinner in one of the restaurants in the Kandy market on the 1st night while we cooked dinner ourselves on the 2nd night. There are 2 grocery stores nearby where you can buy essential daily items if required. The host lives downstairs and they have a lovely family who made sure that whatever we needed was provided to us. Recommended !!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Everdew! It was such a beautiful house, in a really nice and quiet area in Kandy but close to the city centre. The house was clean and provided everything we needed, and was perfect for what we needed.

Everything was fine and the house was as described. What could be improved in our opinion: We were a group of six people the first and seven people the second night, but the kitchen was equipped for a smaller group (for example there were just three forks and just a small pan for cooking). The host lives next door so she brought us everything when we asked for it. It might be easier for everybody if this is provided at the beginning of the stay. On a positive note, the host was very flexible about check in although we arrived much later than expected. We had a short power cut due to external reasons. Although it was Sunday evening, she organized somebody to fix the problem and electricity was back.

Amazing host. We were a lil apprehensive because we did a late booking but they just blew our minds with their hospitality. Very clear communication and extremely pro active with whatever we asked. The host even took us around on his bike and recommended some places. Very knowledgeable about the place. They made us lovely breakfast too. Would highly recommend the place. The only regret is not spending more time with the family :)

Everly is a truly special place. The house is beautiful in every way. The home is so thoughtfully designed and decorated, from the numerous viewpoints, private lounge, terrace, chess board, local artwork and spacious well ventilated spaces. Every room has a private piece of tranquility. The kitchen is well equipped with cutlery and dinnerware, mineral water and microwave etc. The truly special thing about Everly for us was the respect and love the hosts have for spirituality. There is a ledge in the hall with provisions for Christians, Hindus and Buddhists to pray and a prayer room for Muslims on the terrace. The hosts will ensure you are welcome and well looked after, we felt more like friends after only three days! If you have children like we do, this is the perfect place for you. The surrounding homes and driveways offer a peek into modern Kandyan life, and a little bit of the old tranquility that Kandy is famous for. We can't wait to return to your home!
