The Annex is on a farm, well off the beaten track! It is extremely quiet and peaceful. Bed was also very comfortable indeed, so it was a couple of great nights’ sleep. There are not loads of attractions nearby, but if you like walking, riding, or just being out in the countryside, this is a lovely place to be. I arrived very late, in the pitch black, but the directions were excellent, and Wendy had even left the key in the front door lock for me so I didn’t have to worry about opening the key-safe. Very thoughtful. It rained a lot of the time I was there, but this would be an even nicer place to be if it was warm and sunny - lots of views of the farm, and a large pond at the front.

We had a great stay at Wendy's annex - nice and peaceful, and we loved spotting the horses every day. The location was great for us also - easy to drive to Petworth, walks along the South Downs and the canal, and a Sunday roast lunch at Roger Tichborne.
