With all our hearts we would like to leave a review of gratitude to the owners of this hospitable house! A very cozy, comfortable house with all the necessary things, which is located in an amazingly beautiful and quiet area. It has everything you need in every room. Special thanks for the kitchen and all the kitchen utensils, ovens and gas stove, on which it was simply a pleasure to cook. The hosts are very hospitable and responsive. We recommend this family and their delightful cozy home with respect and gratitude. (I would like to add that there were 8 people - 4 children and 4 adults. It was Christmas time. The house was completely decorated with Christmas tinsel and a beautiful Christmas tree, under which there were gifts for children and adults. That says a lot!) Best regards, Sergei
Penmaenmawr meaning 'Head of the great stone' is a lovely village set between the sea and the mountains. There are a good range of shops and takeaways, including a Spar and a Co-op. A couple of restaurants - Johnny Dough's pizza place, The Village Bistro ( you have to book in advance at the Bistro). Learn about the history of the area at the museum. Beach cafe, boat club. Safe for watersports and swimming. Walk over the mountain to Conwy, you can see for miles. Look out for the Druid circle and wild ponies.
There is a train station (request stop) and Penmaenmawr is on a bus route.
Lots of parking in the village and public car park, also parking on the beach front. (free)
