Small rustic little cottage, with all the amenities our family of 4 needed. Absolutely breathtaking surroundings with the mountains right outside your front door lining the edge of open fields. Kids had great fun fishing in the pond, swinging on the swings and exploring the property. The owners allowed access to an incredible outdoor space about 8 minutes down the road with a river rapids running through it for a more leveled up fishing experience. We could’ve had a great vacation with plenty to do on the property alone, but visiting Natural Bridge and the Safari Park was icing on the cake. Would love to return.

Beautiful, very private spot. The history of the place is quite interesting. The “ice house” was just the right size for our family of 4. Nothing fancy, but comfortable; it had more of a rustic vibe. My 2 young boys enjoyed exploring the property, especially the tree swings! We hope to return in the near future!

The property is stunning. We loved the fire pit, and Celeste was very helpful and nice. Easy to get to natural bridge and Lexington.

We had a wonderful stay here! The location was just as described with many acres for us to explore with our three young kids (fields to play in, a pond, tree swings, trails along a stream that we spent over 3 hours exploring). Grilling and a fire pit to use at night were wonderful too! The house was just as described and great for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 3, 6, 8). There were 2 issues that arose (with the keypad and with needing a few additional pillow cases) but they were both resolved and didn’t dampen our overall stay at all. Messages I sent with questions during our stay were quickly replied to. For a laid back couple of family days- this place was so wonderful! We would definitely stay here again! It’s also very close to Natural Bridge State Park (about a 12-15 minute drive) which was a great place to visit as well.
