To sum it up: Dirty at check in, no support from Swissstay No TV to save monthly costs. No parking to save overhead costs, you are forced to sign up with train station and pay extra hidden costs. Washer installed but not allowed to us due to save overhead costs. Sanitary needs repair in Kitchen and Bathroom Really terrible furniture, one cannot relax, it is cheapest possible way to furnish an apartment. it is all to maximize profits at the burden of tenants They charge 210 CHF for cleaning but leave apartment dirty at check in. Refuse to refund cleaning fee. Conclusion: I will NEVER ever book again with Swissstay, it is a rip off with poor customer service. It is all about profit. No vision for long term business. I am using AirBnB since over a decade, I never had this kind of experience.
Our group of 9 really enjoyed this place for our graduation trip. It is a 6 min walk from the Ruschlikon train station, which conveniently connects to the main Zurich train station (Zurich HB). There is a grocery store (Coop) very close by. Everything is very clean. The kitchen was very helpful since we cooked most of our meals. There are only 2 pots and 2 pans, so it was a little hard to cook in bulk for 9 people and we divided the cooking among different pots and pans. There are quite a few spiders in April but not a big deal.
The place is great! So close to transportation, the area is beautiful, taking a stroll next to Lake Zurich. The Lindt factory is just a 20 minute walk along the lake. It was worth it. The place accommodated 9 adults. I would LOVE to book again.
