Frederica is a very responsive host and the place is exactly as described. If you are looking for a place near the airport, be aware that it is difficult to access FCO by public transportation to and from this property. Google maps lists a local bus stop around 1km away from the property. We found the bus terminal at FCO but couldn't find the bus we needed so took a 50 euro taxi out. To take the bus back, there is a gravel path beside the road so there is safety from traffic, but if you are taking many bags you will be carrying them, not rolling them. According to Google maps, the bus ride would take an hour. Our experience with buses in big cities led us to take a cab for 55 euro to make sure we didn't miss our flight. So if you are looking for a cheap place to overnight and you aren't in a car, budget accordingly. The property was very nice and the stay was pleasant. Stores and restaurants are about 1 km from the cottage via road or gravel path.
