My partner and I felt right at home here and enjoyed using the sauna and other common areas. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The on site caretakers were extremely kind and welcoming. Would recommend this stay :)
Peaceful and comfortable stay in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. Accurate description and super easy check-in instructions. We look forward to returning soon!
Loved YMC! Got in late and Melanie had started a fire on the fireplace for me. Ideal location, comfortable stay in a clean environment. Lots of nice touches and well-thought-out to make your stay extra enjoyable. Wished I could have stayed longer at this airbnb. Great location for getting to the Greenbrier River Trail and other hiking trails. Highly recommend.
YMC was a great find on Air BnB. My wife and I enjoyed staying there for the night and liked their setup. We are planning to go back with our son for the summer and enjoy the trails and nature. The area itself has a lot to see, we visited 3 state parks in a day (Droop Mountain, Beartown, Watoga). Melanie was a great host in making sure our late-night check-in went smoothly. We took full advantage of her guidebook which was very helpful in planning our short trip on things to do in the area. They have a great kitchen and dining area where you can cook your favorite meals. I've already recommended my friends and family to visit Yew Mountain Center and enjoy the peace and tranquility it offers. The accommodations were very comfortable.
Just like John Denver's song 'Take Me Home, Country Roads,' West Virginia's Lobelia Road will take Yew home to the place where Yew belong. The Lobelia Community are the members who make up the Yew Mountain Center. Lobelia is where we greet and talk to each other during our morning strolls along West Virginia's country roads. Everyone gives you a wave whether you've been here your whole life or if every corner is an adventure awaiting discovery.
The rest of your neighbors at the YMC are the magnificent trees, plants, mushrooms, and woodland creatures within our 500-acre botanical sanctuary. Embraced by the expansive 919,000-acre Monongahela National Forest, renowned for supplying the 2023 White House Christmas Tree. To genuinely connect with your natural neighbors, step away from the roads and wander through the vast expanse of Nature's Playground.
Nestled strategically between the 3 premier ski slopes of southern West Virginia, our location offers unparalleled access to winter adventure.
