The apartment was cosy, a good size for a couple. We were on a business/ holiday trip. Her dining/office are was awesome. Great light, great views and good space. We feel at home, and even stayed in to work on some days. The bedroom is comfortable, very clean and aromatic. Comfortable enough to want to take a nap everyday. The MTR is a 1 min walk from the apartment, very central and convenient. The old opera theater and a 100 years old wholesale fruit is located just opposite, it wasn't noisy at all. It was fun to watch men off loading and loading fruits in the early morning till 7am. The rooftop is perfect for a beer or two, the view at night is especially breathtaking. And if you are lazy to find food, there is plenty of awesome restaurant nearby, herbals, dessert and more literally below. if anyone is interested, Temple street is just a walk away for a good night out-food, drink, shop. Cheryl also has a little red bag full of food recommendations, there are plenty of maps she left on the table. It was hard to get up 6 flights of stair with the luggage, but once that is over, you will know it is worth it. Cheryl is very helpful and friendly, she knows all the places to eat and shop. So ask away! Overall, despite the climbing (good exercise with all the food) this is perfect.

Cheryl's apartment is located in the fascinating heritage area of Yau Ma Tei. My friend and I really enjoyed exploring the neighbourhood and getting a feel of how the locals lived. We especially loved Shanghai Street, Kubrick Cafe and all the great little eateries surrounding the apartment. There's very convenient MTR access to Central and the rest of Kowloon. The apartment itself is a beautiful and relaxing space that gets lots of sun, perfect for chilling out whenever you need a break from exploring. Cheryl was a very warm and welcoming host who gave many helpful recommendations, took us out for traditional HK desserts and even invited us to a cool rooftop party for designers :) We felt really at home and couldn't bear to leave. We would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend staying with Cheryl for a unique and authentic HK experience.

Superb space and location. Cheryl's place is right in the action of Kowloon! Moments from the very efficient Hong Kong Subway system, and a few steps from classic 'Lonely Planet' destinations...Temple Street Night Market, Nathan Road Shopping, The Ya Ma Tei Fruit Market. For a Hong Kong apartment, you get a great amount of space, perfect for a couple. Being on the 6th floor mean its very quiet, even when the fruit market is cranking with trucks and carts at 5am (worth checking out!), you cant hear it. Cheryl was super friendly and has a collection of info and cards/maps etc if you need to know more about the area, just go exploring I say! If like us you are addicted to early morning coffee, you can find a certain global brand, 2 floor of the Langham mall 5 minute walk away. Follow that up with breakfast at the 'Dim Sum & Dessert' place on Shanghai St, they don't have an english menu, but someone will help if you need to know anything (ie vegetarian!)

This was my first time using Airbnb and It couldn’t be better. Cheryl and her cozy flat just fulfill my expectations. I wanted to stay more like a local and receive tips that are not easy to find as a tourist and Cheryl helped me a lot. The locations is perfect, very traditional and literally a few steps from Yau Ma Tei station, by walking it’s perfectly fine to enjoy shanghai street from north to south and reach the main attractions along the way. Cheryl has got very good style when it comes to decoration and also offers great tea. I strongly recommend Cheryl’s flat for those who wants to experience a local side of Hong Kong.

The meaning of Hong Kong is that it does not matter how small is the base from which you start, it is important to reach the top! In tiny spaces, skyscrapers grow and touch the clouds. So it may be worth even walk a few steps to get to the small but charming apartment of Cheryl. In a city born blending different cultures together, finding accommodation in the shelter of an artist is a wonderful experience. You can walk around the city, which is perhaps the most beautiful way to live Hong Kong, or use the subway, the Tsuen Wan line to the Central station is not even a minute, very comfortable!. Everything around the house is a beat of life, teeming with people. The jade market, night market are within walking distance. Restaurants, laundry, everything at your fingertips. Cheryl is a gracious host that allows you to make you feel even more cosmopolitan atmosphere of this wonderful city. Matteo and Monica
