was a great place to stay. very relaxing. we got the studio and it was billed as advertised. was quite cozy and comfortable. we meet some nice people that were staying there also. the pool is heated and the area is partially shaded. our studio was only 50 feet away from the dock on the river. they had ample and comfortable seating on the dock. saw dolphins and a manatee a couple of the days. the hosts were very nice and occommidating. always said hi and spoke with us. was one of the most relaxing vacations i've ever had. would definetly go back. thanks tom, tammy and lynn

It seemed like most of the kitchen was new, and as I heard from Terri, this is probably the case. It’s an absolutely beautiful setting, with fish jumping in the river and beautiful rooftop patio for sunsets. Not much to do in Ruskin, however. We did find a beautiful nature preserve to hike in walking distance from the place.

The air and the linens were stale, and the pillows smelled like mildew. I'm sensitive to mildew and didn't sleep well the night I stayed. I left the first morning and went to a hotel close to my workplace instead for the second night.
