I visited Egypt first time, without a lot of preparation and planning (which is important in this case).House of Kheops caught my eye straight away and I personally think it’s the best place to stay in Giza, near the pyramids. I booked very last minute and the communication with the host was incredibly fast and helpful. House manager and everyone working in the house welcomed us and taking care of us so warmly and kind. Villa has magic energy and it’s absolutely beautiful inside. Food was authentic and delicious, we enjoyed every single meal surrounded with beautiful scenery. I can’t wait to come back.🤍

The House of Kheops is a truly beautiful, hidden gem. The folk who tend and care for the House and its guests, are charming, gentle and a pleasure to meet and be with. Delicious meals are served in the courtyard, in the company of the pyramid that is so close, its presence is palpable. We would recommend the wonderful driving service of Mahmoud, we arrived calmly and peacefully wherever we went, no matter the chaos on the roads or at the airport. As well, Salim’s buggy trip, guided and ushered around the Giza plateau, in his exuberant professionalism, was a veritable treat. From start to finish, from Shereen to Samir on the outside, the lovely staff on site and including the sweetest Klaus cat and nutty Rex dog, our stay was nourishing and an absolute delight. Thank-you all for something so unique and exceptional.

Staying at House of kheops was incredible! The house is amazing and it is really under the piramids. Salem and his family were friendly and supportive during the stay. The food was one of the best part, really delicius. We also love the tipical mint tea around the fire.

You won't find a better place around pyramids area. Period. Probably not even in whole of Cairo! Yes, it's more expensive than other hotels in the area but it's worth every penny. The memory of having breakfast in the beautiful courtyardwith the pyramid's view will stay for you for a very long time. All the staff is very helpful and friendly. Not to mention the lovely cat! If you're looking for a place that meets the European standards look no further! I'd recommend this place to everyone! We felt so welcomed!

We loved staying here. A very unique and welcoming experience. Although it is hard to find, Salem was super helpful and met us to make sure we didn’t get lost. The location is great - tucked away at the base of one of the pyramids on the edge of a Giza neighborhood without many tourists, but a lot of Egyptians - and horses and carriages! We were befriended by the house cat who was a complete love ball. Salem made us a nice breakfast and was flexible with our checkout time. He also recommended and brought us (for a fee) by horse and carriage to a local roof top restaurant to watch the sun set behind the pyramids. We appreciated his many kindnesses and stories. The only recommendation is to make sure you ask how much rides in and out of the neighborhood and breakfast will cost as we were surprised with our final bill. As always - Salem was gracious and we arrived at an adjusted cost.
