The living room has a double sofa bed and a single unfolding bed for children if required. There is a 3m diameter plunge pool to cool off or for children to play. Lakes' St Helene and Vassivière and the local Plage on The River Maulde have small beaches. Local towns of Eymoutiers, Peyrat le Chateaux and Bujaleuf are all approx. 8km. The three storey detached cottage is a recently renovated 1 bedroom home and is fully equipped. All linens are supplied. The house is not be suitable for people with restricted mobility as the main shower, toilet and wash hand basin are on the first floor and the cottage, typically has some low beams so care must be taken.There is no central heating but there are electric heaters shower room, bedroom, living room and kitchen.The minimum bookings period is 3 nights except during July and August when the minimum booking period is 5 nights. There is a reasonable cleaning charge included; see price breakdown. On the ground floor there is an open plan, well equipped kitchen and dining area. The table can easily accommodate six people. It has all cooking facilities and equipment (fridge/freezer, microwave, integrated cooker and hob, needed to make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The middle floor can be accessed from steps from the kitchen and the front door to the quiet lane. There is a WC with wash basin adjacent to the living room for children or additional guests. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed and an additional single fold out child's bed (if required). The first floor is accessed from the hallway and has the bedroom and shower room. Please note the low beam when climbing the stairs. The shower room is compact and has a basin and toilet. There is a low beam there too. The cellar is adjacent to the garden door via a secure gate and accommodates the washing machine. There is a wash hanging line under the porch over the garden and cellar doors. The garden is well laid out with table and chairs, a lawn, fruit trees and planting. It has a 3m diameter (75cm deep) above ground pool accessed by secure gates. Please note the water level of the pool depends on local water regulations. There is ample parking for two cars within the perimeter and another on the hamlet's parking area at the end of the barn.
