We enjoyed our stay. The farm seems like it is in the middle of nowhere, yet is only a 10 minute drive into town. The house is as described. It has plenty of spaces to have quiet time alone and two large rooms for gathering together. Being a very old house, there are some quirks like uneven floors and narrow staircases. Due to hunting season, the trails were closed Monday through Saturday. Unfortunately, we did not get this message until the day we checked into the house. While I was walking the trail on Sunday, there were 3 gunshots nearby. Hunting season is November 1 to February 15. The refrigerator is small - about 10 CF. Plan to bring a cooler if you are cooking your meals or staying for more than a couple days.

The house is historic, beautiful, comfortable and was perfect for a shared house with us and our grown children and their partners. The house is well set up and includes tons of antiques and art and books. It was a comfortable and lovely place to stay.
