Overall a good stay, if I find myself in the area again I will look at staying here again. Pro: The hot tub was very nice and warm and relaxing. Also quite clean. Con: The area with the hot tub is around the back side of the house and there are zero lights! So it is pitch black and a bit spooky back there. Building a fire in the fire pit helped but this area needs some lights. Pro: Cute porch with nice seats. Con: The screen door to the screened in porch door the cylinder needs to be replaced. It got stuck when fully extended to prop the door open (I was able to fix it) Pro: Beautifully secluded and perfect for an escape. Con: We were not given the correct house number. You are out in nature and there are bugs. There were quite a few "stink bugs" in the cabin. Pro: BEAUTIFUL! Nice spacious beautiful kitchen. There are plenty of dishes available for cooking. Con: The one shelf in the fridge isn't secure. The water and ice in the fridge also doesn't work.

This property was very private, clean, and has plenty to do. We came for spring break and enjoyed the hot tub, playing in the stream, and hiking the property.

This cabin was a great choice for our family of six looking for both outdoor and indoor space. It was near enough to town to get what we needed for the stay, plus restaurants and shops to browse on a rainy day. The shuffleboard was a hit. Great fire pit. The hot tub was big enough for our family and great for a chilly day. The kids enjoyed playing in the creek and we took a hike up to the ridge line to see the sunset and stopped to play in the woods along the way. (It’s a strenuous hike at times. Be warned!) The only heads-up I’d give to other guests is that the primary suite of the cabin has really high windows with no curtains/blinds, so there will be morning light in that room. Not a great choice for late risers. The other rooms are nice and dark.

This location was the perfect place for my friends and family to welcome the new year. Lots of land to explore and walk around. Nice open floor plan for all of us to fit and socialize. The hot tub next to the fire pit was a nice touch too. Only complaint is that it didnt have any of the basic needs like extra paper towels, olive oil, coffee filters for the coffee pot, hand soap etc., so we needed to run to the store that was a good drive away.
