My family and I have had quite the summer this year. We explored a few places in Ontario. This was by far our favourite. My husband spent summers in Port Elgin when he was a kid and I can see why. It was so lovely. The house was close to the beach and quiet, beautiful inside and our kids loved having their own space as well. We will be back for a longer stay next summer.
Great stay would return. The BnB was very nice, included everything you would need and great location, walkable to paths, parks, marina and beach.
We will look at renting again when we return to port Elgin next year! I misunderstood the listing and thought that there was 4 bedrooms for 8 adults. There was two and two pullouts but everyone had a great stay and worked out great!
Clean and just as pictured. Great location. Not actually water front but that was not a driver for us to book.
We loved the location of Ali’s place! Walkable distance to the main beach and to the trail. Peaceful neighbourhood. The place is very nice and spacious. Ali is also very responsive and proactive - really appreciate him being in contact with us. Port Elgin is a beautiful place!
