The house is in a very nice property very peaceful nice surroundings, we sleep very well lots of things to do , nice view of the lake and volcanoes. If you walked to the town is about 15 to20 minutes . Overall is a good place to relax.

We had a wonderful stay at Walter's place! The home was spacious and beautifully decorated. The common garden had places to sit and hammocks to relax in and there were beautiful plants and trees everywhere. We felt safe and secluded. We could walk across the street to the lake and then a short walk to restaurants and a boat ride across the lake . We visited several towns across the lake and highly recommend doing that as they are all different and interesting. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They were wonderful about helping us set up boat rides, tuk tuks into town and let us know about a place to get our clothes washed a couple blocks away. We also walked a lot and enjoyed the different local markets. There was a restaurant a few minutes walk called Blue Lake that overlooked the lake and had delicious coffee and breakfast and we ate there almost every day.

Stayed at the Villas Jucanya as a tourist from the US. Management was friendly and very helpful in helping us with anything we needed. It’s in a private area near the water with great views and was only a 20-25 minute walk/ 5 minute Tuk Tuk ride into downtown Panajachel. The beach unfortunately is not great for swimming, but there were spectacular views and plenty to do while we were there. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Panajachel looking for a quiet and safe place to stay.
