We had such a great time staying at Sandy’s place. She had great hospitality and delicious breakfasts! All the collected art pieces were beautiful and made the place very cozy. It was very clean and it was a pleasant stay.

Staying at the Derinda House was definitely a 5-star experience! Sandy's beautiful home and warm hospitality were simply outstanding, and her mouth-watering breakfasts every morning were amazing!! Sandy is friendly, personable, very responsive, and always willing to help in any way she can. We greatly appreciated her advice and recommendations when it came to restaurants and activities in Galena. She definitely made our sister's trip one to remember, and if we ever plan to be in the Galena area again, we will definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was perfect and very comfortable for a few nights away for our girls trip. Breakfast was wonderful, the house was well cared for and the outdoor deck was a bonus! Thanks for hosting us, Sandy.

This was one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever had! The house was cozy, decadent & charming. We loved all the beautiful antiques, vintage details and creative touches. And the beds were sooo comfy! Sandy was warm & friendly and made the most delicious breakfasts, which was such a lovely treat! She also gave us great recommendations for the area...She truly has an amazing gift of hospitality! I highly recommend Derinda House and hope to stay there again!
