House designed by the renowned architect Carlos Ferrater y Lambarri in 1984. Located at the northern end of the bay of L'Estartit, it faces east facing the Medes Islands (a nature reserve recognized for its underwater life), one of the best views of the Costa Brava. The house is designed to enjoy a luxurious stay, with an infinity pool overlooking the sea and all the comforts you could wish for. Dreamy sunrises, watching the sun rise just behind the Medes Islands. Access to the house is through the top part where the private parking is located. Upon entering the house, you go down the stairs giving access to the first floor where in one side is the kitchen and dining room with a huge balcony that unifies the entire first floor and in the other, a corridor that distributes a double room with bathroom en-suite and a double room with a bathroom right in front. All rooms with access to said balcony with spectacular views. Continuing down the stairs on one side is the living room with two spaces, one more appropriate for watching TV and going down two more stairs, another very cozy living room with direct access to the terrace with an infinity pool, different chill-out areas and a bbq area. On the other side, we find the corridor that distributes two single rooms with a bathroom in front and another double room with an en-suite bathroom, these rooms have direct access to the pool and chill-out areas from huge windows, which are also in all the house, to be able to appreciate the spectacular views constantly from inside the house. In front of the house, in one of the terraces, there is a small bright triangular islet, called "el guix de la Meda", which refers to the name given to the house, and also a very important nautical reference point. In this house you can enjoy the best views of the Costa Brava while you relax with the sound of the waves of the sea and the seagulls. Given the layout of the house, it is not recommended for people with reduced mobility.

Les points positifs de la villa : la vue à couper le souffle, la piscine vraiment sympa. Par contre attention la profondeur de 2 m sur toute la longueur fait qu’elle ne sera pas adaptée pour les enfants qui ne savent pas nager. Et donc une attention particulière pour éviter des accidents. Les points à améliorer : la literie pas très confortable. Et Bien préciser dans l’annonce que toutes les pièces ne sont pas climatisées. Mais étant donné la présence du vent on peut facilement aérer. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et merci à Tony qui a été très réactif et disponible par rapport à nos demandes.
The house and patio area have extensive, commanding and wonderful views of the sea and its improbably lovely sunrises. The location is close to activity opportunities for water-sports. Alongside a good many beach front restaurants and a working marina. Locals were friendly and the house, itself, very peaceful. The resort was popular with Spanish and Dutch holidaymakers and entirely untroubled by rowdy bars and late night club goers, as far as we could tell. The owners liaised to arrange our airport taxi transfers and really wanted to be helpful. The property has a large and comfortable chill-out/exterior seating area by its pool (which is salty and not heavily chlorinated). It also has a BBQ area , separate pagoda dining area and very comfortable hammock under a large tree. We also dined outside several balmy evenings. The property is on internet maps & street view and I'd recommend looking at this to satisfy yourself that all seems comfortably in stride. We had a wonderful holiday.
Amazing view from an amazing place. Tony checked us in and did a great job and made us feel at home. A short walk to the town. We also loved the many great sitting areas to enjoy the magnificent views. We felt it was the very best spot in L’estartit - without doubt. Thanks Tony - great job and we will be back.
This Place is absolutely beautiful! Comfortable, Clean, Spacious, great view and Location. our Host was Mr Tony, who was certainly friendly, delightful and great to work with. he gave a lot of recommendations and made our stay as good and easy as possible. This is a great apot for families, looked after great host. P.S.: The only thing short of perfect is the Wifi... nonetheless, I'd come here over and over again.
You can’t beat the view from this house! Our family spent a week here and enjoyed all the amenities of the beautiful house. Lots of room with 5 bedrooms and spacious living area. The outside space is perfect for relaxing and the pool kept our little one very happy! 5 min walk into town to restaurants and all the outdoor activities/beach of the area. Hiking trails right out the door. Ignasi provided great recommendations of places to go and eat, very responsive and friendly. It is a family vacation home and therefore very well equipped and taken care of. The wifi was weak in areas of the house but was a minor issue. Would recommend!

The house is located in a private residential area, on the top of a hill.
Right in front, when you go down this hill, you find the Nautical Port and followed by the very long beach of Estartit. 5 minutes walking.
In the town of Estartit, also a 5-minute walk, you will find supermarkets, bakeries, and a wide variety of restaurants.
On the way to Estartit, there is a very big supermarket that has all kinds of products. High quality butcher shop and is characterized by having a wide variety of local products, fresh vegetables and everything of very good quality, it is highly recommended before arriving to the house, to stop there to do the shopping for your stay, the supermarket is called "SUPERMERCATS GP", Dirección: Carretera de Torroella, L, GI-641, 3, 600 KM.
Continuing up the hill, you will find the Montgri park where you can lose yourself and go on trekkings inside this natural reserve.
It is recommended to rent a car to be able to move around the area better and to be able to visit the surroundings and different magical and coastal villages of the Costa Brava.
