Occupying the grand front entrance of the property, a large, resort style swimming pool, and to the rear, a large grassed area spilling into your very own, private pontoon and water views of the Main River. The opulent high ceilings exude opportunities of natural light, and welcome panoramic views of the lush surrounds. Modern fixtures and furnishings add a modern twist, to a classic, extravagant foundation, with no detail left untouched. With multiple alfresco living/dining options and an entertainers kitchen, the Main River Mansion has everything you need for the holiday of a lifetime. 'Isle of Sorrento', one of the most sought after locations in the suburbs of the Gold Coast, which guests can choose to be apart of the glitz and glamour of the Gold Coast, or hide away in the peaceful tranquillity of a waterfront property. Bedding configurations are as followed: Master Bedroom 1: Upstairs, River views. 1x King Bed - with ensuite. Bedroom 2: River views. 1x Queen Bed with ensuite Bedroom 3: Poolside Views. 1x Queen Bed Bedroom 4: 1x Queen Bed Bedroom 5 (2nd living area) 1x Sofa Bed in the living area - sleeps 2 and additional fold out bed when required for a 12th guest (Please note: Booking must be made for 12 to have this made up) Property features include: - Two-stories of opulence & grandeur. - Generous open plan tiled layout. - Private paved courtyard with amazing pool area, north east facing. Fantastic Easter break with the family! The house is great - large and spacious, aircons in every room which is great for the hot QLD weather! Pool was a bit too cold to use especially with a toddler so we didn’t use it, there was no space around the pool to sunbathe and the area at the front is super windy so just be mindful if you’re hoping to tan etc. Pantry was stocked, access to board games, books, movies, and there was milk and beers in the fridge, a bottle of wine and cookies which was a really nice touch. Holly was extremely helpful and fast with replies (the Nespresso machine was missing from the property, so we messaged Holly and she was immediately on top of it, she contacted the owners and found out it was still getting serviced and then had someone drop off another machine within the hour which we did not expect her to do at all). She went above and beyond to make our stay as seamless as possible. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks so much for an amazing weekend!
The house itself is quite old and could do with some modernising. The kitchen, living room and dining room and upstairs bathroom don't have any air con so the house is unbearable when it's hot. 2 of the 4 bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. Beds are below average and sheets are cheap and not fitted. the back room is not very nice or comfortable. the view from the back is very nice . overall would be ok in winter but don't go there during hot months. internet is terrible and place needs fly screens and windows that actually stay up. overall we were not satisfied

We have stayed in a number of properties on the coast, and this one is definitely one of the best! The property was clean, spacious, and private with ample space for the entire family. The pool is amazing and well sized to match the property, and the canal frontage is amazing with fantastic views to enjoy whilst relaxing either inside or through the glass door frontage. There were so many little things that made us feel welcome at this place that we haven't seen anywhere else, including wine, beautifully scented bathrooms and living areas, very well maintained yards and strong, reliable internet. As an added bonus, the property has great security and lovely neighbours and is in a quiet location. Thanks for having us, we look forward to staying again.

Perfectly located in the quiet neighbourhood of Bundall. Less than 2km distance to the beach of Surfers Paradise, famous for its high end restaurants, bars, and array of vibrant nightlife.
Broadbeach, Pacific fair and the Casino are only 10 min by car or via the convenient G Link/ light rail tram to further explore the surrounding areas.
The Gold Coast is well on the way to calling itself Australia's adventure capital with no end of thrill-seeking activities available - think jet-boating, jet-skiing, off-road 4WD adventure drives, zorbing, surfing lessons, bungy jumping, tiger moth joy rides, helicopter tours, go-karting, Harley Davidson jaunts, WRX rally car racing, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, hot air ballooning, or cheer on the local team by enjoying a day at the footy, or rugby, or basketball, or local ironman contest is a great way to keep the whole family entertained. The famous Gold Coast theme parks are a short 25 min drive away.
The Q1 Observation Deck is a short drive away, on level 77 and 78 of Q1 Tower; is a must-see destination boasting sensational views - from the surf to the hinterland and beyond.
Discover the Hinterland
The Hinterland often gets forgotten in the glitz and glam of the Gold Coast. But up in the hills, the Coast can actually be very charming. Along the usual winery trails, there's also homemade cheeses, fudge and local brews and liquors to be sampled. Go during the weekend and snap up some local produce at a Farmers' Market, as well as some arts and craft. For the more adventurous, you can tackle one of the many rainforest walks available on Tamborine Mountain, or head down to NSW and Mt Warning. They don't call it that for nothing - you'll have to pull yourself up via a chain for the last few metres.
