I had a fantastic stay and really enjoyed the location. Walking distance to One Paseo, grocery stores, dog park, etc. The unit was very clean & had everything I needed (cooking supplies, extra blankets/pillows, towels). The host even left some snacks & drinks which was very thoughtful! The only cons were the bathroom sink got clogged very easily and it took 3 days for the host to respond to me & arrange someone to fix it. Living with that for a few days was not ideal. Also, the building had a lot of maintenance. They were painting the walk ways which blocked me from leaving the unit during the day, and the workers were requesting to come in and fix leaks due to the shower in the unit leaking into the garage. Everything seemed slightly run down. Also, the neighbors upstairs have a young child that stomps and runs around like crazy so I would wake up due to the noise which was distracting. Other than that I really enjoyed the location and it was a great stay for the time I spent there.

We had a wonderful month long stay at Krista’s place. The location was unbeatable with a short 10 minute walk through the complex, then a park to get to Del Mar Highlands Towncenter. The apartment itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home. It is very quiet at night for restful sleep. Although it is located on the first floor facing the street, privacy is not too much of an issue in the living room after the owner installed a privacy faux ivy fence. Krista was super responsive and accommodating. We would definitely come back.

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a super clean, well-furnished and well-equipped stay. Everything you would ever possibly need has been stocked for you and the furniture is very comfortable and very clean. It really has a brand new feeling. Wi-fi and cell signal are flawless, which was important because I worked out of the space for my full month stay. And the owner is extremely responsive and incredibly nice.

I did an extended stay. Pros: good location near lots of restaurants and grocery, safe area, quick drive to the state beach, close to main highways; host is super responsive to questions and requests; wifi is great; equipped with everything you need for a longer stay Cons: mattress is a futon-type mattress that is very, very firm with no extra cushioning if you are a side sleeper; there are two windows and a sliding glass door in the unit - all are at street level next to public walkways, so zero privacy when open.
