Well equipped kitchen. Probably not the best place for a light sleeper who wishes to sleep late: a fair amount of road noise. Also the place needed two things 1) a fan or two. it was quite warm on two days and there are no fans. 2) there was no picnic table or other outdoor table for eating. The listing claims that "the cottage has its own dock" but the handwritten instruction inside the cottage said not to use the dock. The listing also said there is no TV, but there is one, with a DVD player and basic cable.

A wonderful, peaceful and private setting with breathtaking water views. We got a chance to experience Maine away from the crowds and enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The cottage itself was immaculate and if you are looking to unplug and unwind this is the place to be.

This is a sweet spot right at the entrance of Deer Isle , and on the waterfront. The cottage was clean and the kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs for a week. The cottage was simple and comfortable and views are stunning -- it was wonderful to have our meals overlooking the bay for a week. Our doggies loved the space for walking and exploring. Thank you for a great week.

Wonderful cozy cottage right on the water. Great place for a couple to get away and relax and watch the sailing boats pass by from the window. 360 water views.
