OMG, what a fantastic place to stay. Kate is super helpful, responsive and went over and above what we would ever expect. The place is spotlessly clean, beds are mega comfy and great shower. All the extras….. cinema room, table tennis, hot tub and arcade game kept us fully entertained when the weather did not!! I can 100% recommend and hope to be back for a longer stay next time. Thank you Kate & Trev

I’ll be very honest because I find honest and thorough reviews helpful . Trev and Kate let us check in early which was very helpful. The place smelled musty (as basements typically do) but it was not hard to get used to the smell. The place was very spacious and cozy and the hosts left us freshly ground coffee with oat milk in the kitchenette which was so nice . The grass was not cut upon arrival and they actually were outside cutting it during our stay which was slightly annoying but didn’t take them long to do . The hot tub - amazing . The outdoor shower- amazing . Lots of towels available. Could hear the pitter patter of little feet upstairs almost constantly but they did provide some ear plugs . I would say if you really value privacy this place isn’t right for you however they did try their best to make things comfortable and quiet for us . Price was fair and their neighbourhood is peaceful and breathtaking if you like to go for walks . Ocean views but not from the backyard .

We had such a wonderful time. Very kid-friendly and even had some toys for my toddler. My child had so much fun running around the open space and fenced in back yard. The area was spotless, cozy and felt just like home! Trev and Kate were very quick to respond and went over and above to make us feel welcome and comfortable. If we ever find ourselves in Nanaimo, you bet we’re coming back here!

Very good hosts, detailed explanation, gorgeous and tasteful home decoration, all needs carefully thought out and made available, very good location, private space, very good hosts for pets, our cat lily was very curious about the cats of the hosts, but they could not meet. :)) In short, our trip to Victoria and Nanaimo was made even more beautiful with wonderful hospitality. We thank Trev and Kate for that.

Trev and Kate’s place was represented accurately to the ad. Everything was very clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable (I even reached out to ask which pillows they had as I wanted them for myself!) Hosts were super responsive to messages and okay with us checking in late after we missed several ferries. Easy check in and out, quiet/safe neighborhood. We didn’t use any of the game room or hot tub so can’t review those, but I’m sure they would be nice! Place is a little far out of town, but it’s definitely not a bad thing. Great place for a couple of nights to drop in. Coffee was provided/available as well.
