The place was clean, plenty of space, and very accommodating. There was coffee, ice and water, a few towels, little toiletries, and a hairdryer. He let us check in an hour early. We had an early flight so we went to the mall near the air port to eat and walk a bit before. We took an Uber for about $25 from the airport to the mall then another $25 from the mall to the house. In looking back we should have just taken a train to eat then take the bus back to the house. Train ride run about $2-$5 each and the bus is $1. The bus stop is just down the hill from the house. When asking for directions to get back from the city officers will tell you the area is not safe at night, however, we felt safe at all times. It was suggested to take Uber from the train station rather than bus, those rides ran about $10 each. Over all I would highly recommend this house if you plan to go to the city. Clean, friendly, and convenient. This was a trip with friends. I would come back with my family.

This place was a wonderful stay! The home was cute, clean, and provided so much space! We were a party of four adults and was very comfortable. The host made sure we got in safely and was very communicative. I definitely recommend this home!

Mixed bag. The apartment was fantastic! We are regulars in Newark and this is the best Airbnb we have found without spending an arm & a leg. The host, however, was rude. Ran upstairs when we arrived at check-in and "locked some things up" before we could enter, even though we arrived an hour after check-in. We asked for a 2hr later check-out almost 24hrs in advance and the host agreed. 1 hour before the "official" checkout, the host messaged me that since only 1 person was staying behind - my husband (the other 3 of us left), he would have to charge us an additional day. I did not understand what he meant by "addition time beyond checkout is just for him" and asked for clarification since we agreed to 1pm, without stipulations. He responded and said "C'mon. Don't pretend ignorance." Then, accused my husband off "leaving stealthily...like someone who didn't want to be heard" in the morning. It is a shared building, he was likely being considerate to the other residents in the building.
