I spent 4 wonderful nights in a magnificent villa with my family. The landscape is Magnificent, the furniture of the villa is just as beautiful. The overflowing swimming pool overlooking the rice fields, Dode and his team taking great care of my whole family. This stay in Bali will leave us with excellent memories, the villa offers various services at reasonable prices. (floating breakfast, lunch, lingerie service, etc.) I just have one remark: some trace of humidity on the walls but given the location it seems logical to me. We rented a car and the place was easily accessible We have done other villas in Bali, we couldn't find better than Villa Matahati!

Pretty cool place, overall if you wanan relax and enjoy your vacation, I recommend. However big minus point is that there is no AC at living so super hot all day at living room.

Beautiful, quiet, and peaceful villa. The host met us and provided a free welcome drink. The pool was great (deeper than we thought) and the rooms were clean. I will say it looked better in photos though. Our rice terrace was harvested, so we had muddy water views. Haha. Rides to Central Ubud took 10-20 minutes depending on traffic. There was some mold/mildew in the shower area, out door tub, and pool. Rooms and bathrooms had bubbling/chipping paint. Also, some outdoor furniture was permanently stained. The host instructs you to lock up at night and when you depart, so you’ll have to carry keys on your journey. Additionally, unbeknownst to us, Grab/Gojek are forbidden to operate in the Villa area for rides/transfers. Grab/Gojek for food is ok, but takes a while as you are further out. The area seemingly forces you to use local taxi services that charge 3x the amount compared to Grab/Gojek (signs everywhere).
