This was the second time that we have stayed at this property. It’s so comfortable and is accurately described Its location is several miles from Aviemore in a quiet location with superb views up Glen Feshie. Several walks nearby of various lengths and interests.
March House is wonderful. Our family of 7 adults had an amazing holiday. The surroundings are idyllic with magnificent views of the Cairngorms from the house and garden as well as birds and animals visiting the garden every day. We were lucky enough to see red squirrels, pine martens, hares and many different birds. Caroline was a wonderful host, greeting us on arrival, giving us lots of valuable information on nearby walks in the Cairngorms and the many activities in the area and making sure we had everything we needed. March House has everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday for families of adults as well as those with children and we would not hesitate to recommend this Airbnb.
We were a group of 8 people (two families) and found the place perfect for us. Having so many bedrooms and bathrooms was extremely convenient. We also loved the layout of the kitchen, fireplace and dining room because they were connected and allowed us to enjoy every moment together. The dining room overlooks a very nice garden and the mountains, we were often visited by the local wildlife. There are plenty of books in the house and Caroline treated us with some home made sweets, and other essentials for our first breakfast. You can walk from the house to a river and a few nice trails. We were a bit anxious because there were no reviews in airbnb on this property, but Caroline has been renting her place for decades. She explained she is just new in airbnb. The only "negative comment" relates to the price. It was rather expensive for a party of eight, but I guess that with the full occupancy the price would be reasonable. In any case, Caroline is a great host!
Caroline was a great host, and the house was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying here!
