House next to Amsterdam. We are renting out our family home. It is a cosy villa located in Zaandam in a residential area surrounded by a little lake, garden and forest. A 15 min train / 20 min car ride to Amsterdam. The aim with our house was to create a holiday vibe, throughout the year. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Note > The house comes with 2 cats, Nacho & Zorro, who need a bit of love from time to time. We only rent out to families. Welcome to our home, a quiet and spacious place, perfect for families looking to explore Amsterdam while enjoying a peaceful vacation. Our house is a 200m2, two-foor villa, full of love and unique design. We live in a neighbourhood, but our house is very private and surrounded by trees. Downstairs, you'll find a large living room with a fireplace, a dining room, and kitchen. There's also an optional guest room with a 140*200 bed on this floor. Upstairs, we have three rooms: the master bedroom connected to the second living space with a 160*200 bed; a kids' bedroom with a 180*200m bed (fits up to 3 kids or 2 adults) ; and a third room which can be converted into a baby room, equipped with the en-suite bathroom. We have a baby crib 60*120cm available and an optional camping bed for a second baby/small child. There is also a fully equipped kitchen on the first floor. Outside, we have a big garden with various seating areas, perfect for relaxing. You'll also find an outdoor fireplace for chillier evenings. Our garden leads to a children's play forest which is great for kids, but please note that there's also water around the house, so it's important to keep an eye on the little ones. Our home's style is a mix of designer and second-hand furniture. Our two friendly cats, Nacho and Zorro, also share our home. They mostly stay outside during the summer, and while they have automatic feeders, it would be helpful if you could occasionally check their food and water. They have a cat flap to get outside, next to the downstairs guest room, so just know that if you want to use this room, you might be welcomed with some cuddles or miaows at night. We usually close the door of this room, to minimise disturbances at night. As for transportation, free parking is available on our terrain. Both the Koog aan de Zaan station and the Amsterdam Central bus stop are just a 12-minute walk away. We also have two bikes that you're welcome to use. Our house is situated in a peaceful neighbourhood, making it the perfect starting point for your trips into Amsterdam. If you are looking for a house with a lot of space, where everyone can find their own areas to chill from, then our place is perfect for you. To summarise: 2 living spaces 2 kitchens 1 bathroom 2 toilets 2 guest-rooms with 2 persons bed 1 optional guest-room with a 2 persons bed (just know that the cats share this space at night as well) 1 guest-room with only a baby/kids crib (+ optional baby/kids camping bed) A big garden If you would like additional cleaning that is possible, just let us know in advance. Charge is 75 euro for the full house. The gardener comes by once a week, just so you know that he will be there for 2 hours on a Monday/Tuesday.
