You live in an apartment with Paola’s mother and father, Isabel and Henry. They are fantastic hosts! Isabel is so wonderful, kind, and generous. She makes breakfast every day, always delicious. Isabel often brings me a flask of coffee! I feel like a king 😄 The apartment is close to the street with all the shops and sometimes there are parties on the weekend. My room is closest to that street, and if the noise is too loud Isabel lets me sleep in a quieter room (if it’s available). There’s a family run restaurant a two minute walk away that I highly recommend. It’s called El Gran Po’jhon. It’s open every day except Tuesday. Week days they have a soup, main meal, small dessert and drink for P$10500 (£2.10) and on weekends a large soup for P$13000 (£2.60). It’s cheap because this part of Bogota is a poor area. Because of this, it’s a safe place, as long as you don’t walk too far. The location is a 20 mins bus ride (P$2500 - 50p) to the town. To get into the bigger town it’s over an hour.

Very good place to stay, always clean, organized, nice atmosphere, excellent service, delicious breakfast. Hosts are very responsive, Isabel and Henry, always ready to help and contribute in any aspect with maximum kindness. They made my stay very pleasant.
