For entertainment there is a Smart TV with Apple TV, just bring your own logins for Netflix, Disney, NEON, etc. Despite the rural location, it is ideally located as a base for all the local beaches as it is only 10 - 15 minutes drive away (check out Te Arai in the height of summer when Mangawhai Heads beach is chocka!). The shops, cafes and markets at Mangawhai Village are only a 10 minute drive and Mangawhai Heads just a few minutes further up the road. Waipu, Waipu Cove and Langs are only 15-20 minutes away.
