Hands down the best AirBnB we've ever stayed at, and totally worth the price. Joan and his family were very welcoming and accommodating at every turn. We arrived in Mexico after flying all night and they graciously and without hesitation allowed us to check in several hours early, and met us outside to help find parking. Our Spanish skills are minimal, but the family was very friendly and eager to communicate with us in a mix of Spanish and English, with the help of phone translation services. They even called family members that are fluent in both languages to help us communicate! The unit is clean, comfortable, and quiet-perfect for our week stay for the total solar eclipse. We had a lot of questions about Durango and the surrounding area, and they were always prompt in their responses, sharing local knowledge of the area which was very helpful and reassuring. They live close by, so were able to come over to the unit a few times when we needed assistance. Loved our time here!
