MountainWaters is a quiet mountain & river front retreat. Wake up & enjoy a coffee while gazing at the stunning mountain, admire the sun glistening on top the Shenandoah River, listen to birds singing. Take a 3-5min. stroll to your private acre of riverfront. Enjoy use of fire pit, kayaks, fishing poles & Adirondack chairs. Grill up dinner & end the night with a dip in the hot tub watching nature's fireworks (fireflies). Hike and explore cool towns Woodstock and Strasburg. Adventure Awaits! Adorable A-Frame cabin that is newly renovated with views of the mountains and the river. The house is set into a hill and you feel like you are living among the trees from the deck. View your private river frontage on the beautiful Shenandoah River below. The cabin features 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and TV, and one with 2 twin beds. The twin bedroom features an en suite half-bath. To access the upstairs, there is a small spiral stair case. There is also a pull-out couch on the main floor that sleeps 2. The kitchen is fully stocked for even the best chefs! Please note there is no dishwasher. Grill out on the deck overlooking the mountains and the river, or enjoy a drink on the screened in porch. The house is on well water. We have a brand new (Aug 2023) water filtration system throughout the house. Please note that occasionally the water will smell like sulfer when first turning on the faucet. Just run it for a few minutes and it should go away. We do provide a Brita for drinking water, but you may want to bring some bottled water, too. You can enjoy river toys like 2 kayaks, several water tubes, fishing poles, etc. Please let us know if you'd like to make use of these and we will ensure they are ready for your stay.
