We had a great stay in San Diego! The property is nestled on a steep hill with great views of the city. The pool and outdoor space was definitely the highlight of the house. The host was very helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions. The only thing that didn’t meet our expectation was that from the pictures, we thought that there were two queen beds in 1 room, but they are actually two twin beds. We would definitely stay here again!

The Pacifica Escape has a lot to offer when visiting San Diego. The location, views, house size, and pool are all wonderful. We stayed here for 3 nights my family and enjoyed our stay. However, there are some definite downsides to staying at the Pacifica Escape. This isn’t your typical Airbnb experience. This place is very obviously professionally managed which results in the experience being more like a hotel than an Airbnb. Booking the Pacifica Escape place through Airbnb is confusing. Even though the booking is confirmed through Airbnb, the host will not confirm until you sign their separate rental agreement and provide a copy of your driver's license. The house is not stocked with much. The “essentials” (1 trash bags, dish soap, 4 toilet paper rolls, 1 paper towel roll, etc.) are limited and “only enough to hold you over until you can go to the store.” The profit & loss takes priority over the guest experience.

location was good. the rooms had lot of glass all around which was good for pool and backyard view but ac was not working so rooms were heating up during the day . There was no washer dryer so using towels and basic laundry was chalennging. shower outlet was jammed but their service team was prompt to respond and fixed it. we had bathroom door jammed in the middle of night. We paid lot of money for the pool unfortunatley weather was cold and the pool was not heated so we couldnt use it. there was camera in the backyard right on the pool though it was facing outward but dont know if it had some angles of the backyard. its a big privacy concern to me especialy with the pool.
