One of the more memorable “Airbnbs” I’ve visited (quotes because really, it’s a hotel). The room had a lot of character and being above the bar was fun (and convenient to go down for a taste before bed). We had our dog with us, and thankfully the ghosts didn’t scare her too much. One thing I’d note is that there are two bathrooms shared for the floor. Overall, fun experience and I’d stay there again.

We had a very nice stay, but I would say that it's not for everyone. The young woman who checked us in (Melanie?) was very nice and very helpful; the bartender (Tony or Cody?) was easy going and professional. Our room was right above the saloon, which we thought might be a problem, but it quieted down just about 9 pm, which seemed to be by design. The hotel is 19th century and a little down-at-the heels, but I think the owners are working to improve it. The the room was nice and the bed was very comfortable; the room didn't have a closet or dresser, or even hooks to hang your clothes; shared bathrooms are down the hall. We didn't see any ghosts :/ Georgetown is a very cute little town that hasn't gotten touristy or "cutesy" (yet). People we encountered were very nice. Grocery store, liquor store, bank, library, shops, restaurants are an easy walk from the hotel (we had a really nice breakfast across the street at the Corner Cafe). The surronding area is beautiful.
