My girlfriend and I very much enjoyed our stay at Theodores. We stayed only two nights, but found it to be a calm and peaceful getaway. Lots of wildlife to observe, and the stars are fantastic on a clear night. There were a few other yurts close by, but plenty of space in between so it doesn't feel at all cramped. Also, the toilet took a little getting used to but was as described. Would definitely stay again on future trips to Acadia.

theodore himself was nice. the yurt wasnt bad. pictures were a bit decieveing. the headboard wasnt attached and juat resting up against the bed. the bed was on the fl. and definetly wasnt a queen and was terribly uncomfortable. tgere was a cabin right next to our camp site not in pictures. and about 4 other yurts that are only a few feet away also not pictured. the landscaping in the pictures looked nice but was some what over grown and in need of love. the pond that was on property that you can swim in, i wouldnt be caught dead swiming in. also our shower did not work for the first day. there was no discount offered or anything like that. to be fair tho he did come fix it the next day. all in all the stay wasnt terrible. Also as you pull in and see the air bnb sign there was a cease work order stating his campsites were illegal bc the propert was zoned residential. so was questioning if we were stsying there illegally?
