Magnifique logement dans le cadre exceptionnel du village d'Autoire. Le château était idéal pour 6 personnes et très bien équipé, la terrasse mise à disposition très agréable dans un très joli jardin ombragé. La vue sur le jardin, les toits ou les collines était la cerise sur le gâteau. Raisa et Elizabeth étaient très accueillante et de bon conseil. je recommande sans hésiter.

Our stay was perfect! It was so much more than we expected. Our hosts bent over backwards to welcome us. They had great suggestions, told us the history of the area and even brought us candles when there was a storm and the town’s electricity went out. We got to try fruit from their trees and even their homemade walnut wine (a specialty in this area). The house is just gorgeous, very authentic, with everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We visited with two young girls and they let them run around in the yard without making us feel like we were a nuisance. I HIGHLY recommend this accommodation. Thanks a million for the warm welcome! We’d love to visit again!

A welcoming gîte in beautiful surroundings. The familiale has everything you need, stayed mainly cool in the heat and had gorgeous views from the garden. The two bedrooms under the eaves are harder to keep cool, but fans were provided. The outside dining area has the perfect orientation for cool meals. The drive up there is not for the faint hearted but the chateau is worth the adrenaline inducing drive up that steep and narrow street. The owners are very friendly and had knowledge aplenty to provide personalised recommendations on what to do. There are plethora of well known attractions nearby, but Autoire alone is worth the visit. Just remember that any meandering will require some form of climbing! But the views from the hikes leaving from the village are splendid. Overall a little gem of a gîte if you want to stay in that area.
