Our pond-side compound is about 15 minutes to Jay or Livermore Falls where you can find groceries, restaurants, pharmacies, and a post office. The college town of Farmington is a 25-30 minute drive and the closest town with a theater, great restaurants, shops, and a farmers market every Saturday (May through October). We are 50 minutes from Auburn/Lewiston and 55 minutes to Augusta. There are many seasonal hiking options in the area in addition to short hikes available on our property. Skiing and boarding options can be found nearby at Sunday River (70 minutes) and Sugarloaf (80 minutes); local hills are Titcomb in Farmington - great cross country trails (30 minutes)--and Spruce Mountain in Jay (15 Minutes).

Our gated, winding, two mile gravel/dirt camp road takes you on a journey from civilization to seclusion. We recommend driving it with care and a vehicle with high ground clearance such as a crossover, SUV, or truck. AWD or 4x4 and studded tires are required when snow/ice is on the ground, as there are steep sections of road and we do not spread sand/salt.
