This cabin was in a private, secluded area. it was very peaceful, and we loved every bit of it. Wish we had stayed longer. The host was very responsive and helpful as well. Thank you so much we will be back.

Although the setting of the home is beautiful and peaceful, the insect issue in the home is much worse than was indicated. When we arrived there were hundreds of insects (primarily lady bugs) around every window. Because most of the beds back up to windows, the comforters and sheets had bugs within them that we had to clean before sleeping. The listing did mention that at certain times of the year, bugs in the area were a nuisance (and denied refunds as such). This seemed beyond what was expected, especially for the price. The location itself was beautiful and exceeded expectations. The small hiking trail behind the house was a nice addition. The proximity to major attractions at hocking hills was reasonable. We really enjoyed our stay, once we had spent several hours cleaning the bugs from the home. Although it was apparent that someone cleaned before our arrival, it may have been quite some time given the degree of accumulated bugs.

The cabin was amazing and the pool was a perfect addition to the property. Only complaint is that I asked for an early check in (I asked for 2pm) and was told it would be $150 extra if I wanted to check in anytime between 10 and 4. The reason being for housekeeping from previous guests even though it was obvious no one had stayed the night prior because check out is 11 (and I was offered check in at 10 for the $150). Besides that shady stuff, it was a great stay with friends.
