Lovat Bothy is located on the Glendale Estate, North West Skye. It is set in a private and secluded location, being the only pod on the site. The high standards of the well equiped pod means it is well suited to couples looking for a romantic break or those seeking the adventure of an activity based holiday. The pod offers easy access to points of interest such as Neist Point and Dunvegan Castle. There are many restaurants serving local produce such as the Michelin rated Three Chimneys. The pod consists of one large area which includes a king sized ottoman bed for storage including memory foam mattress and Egyptian cotton sheets. One bathroom with toilet, sink and shower (bath and hand towels included) A kitchen area with sink, cooking facilities (electric hob) and microwave, fridge freezer, bench and table seating area. All crockery, cutlery, tea towels and utensils are also included. L shaped sofa in the living room including TV (currently await internet connection) Hooks and hangers available for clothing

The Lovat Bothy was the perfect peaceful retreat while on holiday in Scotland. Very private and cozy. Furnishings and linens were high quality, bed was very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with all cooking items one would need. Kenny was a pleasure to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this cozy accommodation to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Absolutely great stay - totally worth it. Couple points of note are that the shower can be temperamental, midges pretty hungry, and don’t want to arrive in a low riding car/sports car/car that doesn’t do well off road as the drive is a steep farm/country track which could be hard to climb for some vehicles. It’s a perfect location for everything you need to do on Skye, and secluded away from any tourist hot spots which gives you your own hideaway from the busy island. Could not recommend enough but points above worth noting. Cheers Kenny!

A larger than normal pod, in a private location with plenty of space for us, our wee Cocker Spaniel and all our outdoor gear. Clean, tidy and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen.

The pod is located in the rural village of Glendale and close to local amenities such as a convenience store and two cafes, Cafe Lephin and The Red-Roof Cafe.
It also offers easy access to Neist Point and the Lighthouse. This area of Skye has some of the worlds most iconic coastal walks and unrivalled scenery and wildlife. The viewpoint from the pod provides spectacular views across the glen of Glendale.

You will encounter parts of the road that is classed as single track. It is important to use the designated passing places in these areas and be mindful of other road users. A point to note is that priority should be given to traffic travelling uphill.
