Lorraine was a great host! Even though she was going through repairs at another location, she still made time to come out and see us and talk to us. She was very accommodating with every aspect of the cabin, recommended the Hope area (where we found an awesome cafe), and immediately had firewood for us right when we asked! There was only one heater in the cabin, but it kept us perfectly warm! Lorraine offered a second heater, but we didn’t even need it. The cabin was a perfectly sized base for two people to return to after going out and exploring Alaska. The view was stunning, photos really can’t do it justice! It was incredibly scenic to sit by the fire and see the river and mountains. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. We would definitely recommend family and friends stay here!

This was our second stay at the cabin and we found it every bit as beautiful and romantic as the first time. SUCH a peaceful location with unbeatable views. And the bed is really comfortable!

Lorraine and Mike were so gracious and welcoming during my stay there. My trip was for work, and when things went south, they went way out of their way to help me out. They are honestly two people who seem like they are hosting an AirBnB because they like people, and enjoy meeting and hosting people, and are not just doing it because it's an investment or something. They really embody the spirit of the AirBnB experience in my opinion and I cannot recommend them enough. Also, the cabin was comfortable, cozy, and had the most amazing view you can possibly imagine.

What a lovely cabin and spectacular view! We travel down from Palmer to trout fish every year and struggle to find accommodations. What a great find! Lorraine was a great host and the cabin was well stocked and perfect for our needs. The fire pit and view of the river made for an amazing stay. We will be back!
