Daniel described the place well and was responsive to answer questions before I ever booked but the weekend of my stay he was not. Turns out he had an emergency to attend to out of state and that caused some disruptions including the house not being ready for my stay. I am understanding of emergencies and Daniel was able to make it right for me by having his son clean up the house and refunding me. Daniel was very apologetic and not making excuses for himself either. I trust that in the future Daniel will have the house prepared with proper instructions before check in.

Daniel was a great host, right from my first inquiry about his place. He went to the extra trouble of delivering breakfast groceries to the door "from Santa". The house is a quirky old farmhouse, right fown to sloped ceilings in the attic bedroom and a 70s bar downstairs in the den, which we loved. Most of the interior is vintage, except for the brand new appliances. Be prepared for a very pet friendly home...the couches and bedding were all covered in dog hair, except for the attic bedroom.
