Malte & Brooke's home is an absolute gem!!! My family and I have been renting on fire island for years and years and we all agreed that this was our absolute favorite house of all time. The house is well furnished, impeccably clean and cozy and the setting surrounding the house is absolutely unreal! Not sure what we loved most- having the gorgeous beach just footsteps away, sipping our morning coffee on the lovely deck in the morning or grilling and chilling on that same deck in the evenings. Actually, I know what it was- it was watching the absolutely STUNNING sunsets from that same deck every single night- total heaven! In addition to all this Malte and Brooke were very responsive when we had questions and left clear instructions for everything you might need to know about the house. We will for sure be back!

Malte's place is amazing! The location is wonderful, it's on the last row of houses before a section of trees and dunes, so there are unobstructed views west, and not many neighbors. Sitting on the large terrace you can see the ocean and sunsets over the bay. Also, because it's farther from town and on a sand road, it's very quiet. The kitchen is new and great, and we especially appreciated the sharp knives! The 2 bedrooms downstairs are comfortable, but unfortunately you don't get to enjoy the lovely sea breeze, because of the window ACs and 1 window missing a screen. The beach umbrella provided works great, even on the windy ocean side. Overall a great experience, would definitely go again!

Absolutely loved our stay at this amazing beach house! The location was unbeatable, just steps away from the ocean with breathtaking views. The house itself was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and extremely comfortable. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure every detail was taken care of. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying stunning sunsets from the deck was truly a dream come true. Can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise!

Believe it or not, the place is better than the photos. You can hear the ocean from the house! The outdoor deck and kitchen were wonderful to cook and hang out all day at. Really comfortable beds to sleep in. Malte & his wife were extremely responsive and had great local recommendations. I hope I get the chance to stay there again soon.
