Great place. Very friendly staff. Fairly basic, but with quite a few nice things like towels; shampoo; tea and coffee. Loads of free parking. I personally would’ve preferred a slightly bigger bed and there was room in the bedroom, but that’s just personal taste.
Amazing value for money. Great location, nice and easy to get to. Clean, with well working shower and comfortable bed. Staff were friendly, amenities are limited but that comes with the price you pay. Thank you!
I had Room 14. It had a really bad smell of drains that appeared to emanate from the bathroom. I complained and when the receptionist visited the room, he said it smelt like home cooking and wasn't a bad smell. I asked for a different room. He said he'd ask his managers. When I saw him a little while later, he told me that I couldn't have a different room as there wasn't a smell or the smell wasn't bad enough. I found that if I kept both windows opened day and night and the bathroom door firmly closed then the smell was just about bearable. The trouble with that was that it was November and so it got rather cold, especially at night. The above is a real shame as the staff were extremely pleasant and friendly, the room a reasonable size, the bed fairly comfortable and the price pretty cheap. The curtains let in a lot of light at sunrise but this is fairly standard for budget accommodation and so I don't have a gripe with this.
