The Kings Cross New Development is the newest quarter in London and it is still under development with plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and places of interest. I recommend the area around Granary Square, N1C. where there are coloured fountains, the University of the Arts (Centre Saint Martin, the famous fashion school), restaurants, bars and a Waitrose supermarket. If you are a jogger/walker, the canal towpath in the direction of Camden is a lovely walk past Camden Lock, Camden Market, Regents Park and London Zoo. The BETTER Gym and Swimming pool at Kings Cross and Cally Pool offer world Class facilities for a drop in fee.
The magnificently restored railway stations of King's Cross and St Pancras are worth looking at closely. The Regent's Canal has colourful houseboats (including a floating bookshop: 'Word on the Water'; swans, ducks, moorhens, cormorants and terrapins. FREE WIFI is available at the nearby St Pancras station and The British Library.
Granary Square, University of Art London, King's Cross Regeneration, Central Saint Martins fashion school, Aga Khan Centre, London Business Design Centre, London Flower School, Islington Angel, Emirate Football stadium are all within walking distance from my property.
